Witnessing your pivot has been like watching someone pull off a high-wire act in fabulous shoes—terrifying, inspiring, and wildly satisfying. I’ve been feeling the same deep joy in my own pivot: seeing our authors reinvent themselves and succeed is the kind of adrenaline I never knew I’d love this much. Here’s to transformations that keep unfolding—sometimes gracefully, sometimes with dahlias and Trader Joe’s chips in hand. xo
Wow, Susan I have know you for lots of years and I didn't know half of those things about you. Thanks for sharing. We have lots to talk about in the future.
I loved this! As I move through midlife I find myself getting clearer and clearer on values, which has turned into priorities. I want real connection with everyone I come into contact with. I want strong, healthy relationships built on trust. I want community. When I'm working towards those three things, I'm happy. Everything else is falling by the way side including the tidiness of my home. The clarity is definitely moving me towards a pivot, which as you know is both scary and exciting. Your story is very inspiring. I'm so glad to know you! And Lake Michigan is a magical place. It was our favourite camping stop on our trip across the country and back this summer. We were there for my sweetie's 16th. Our site was right on the water. It was beautiful!
Hello Nancy! How are you? I'm so glad to know you as well! All those things you mention are the things I am searching for as well – community, healthy relationships, and real connections. No wonder we get along so well! And yes, pivots are both scary and exciting; this one surely has been that for me. What a treat that you've been to Lake Michigan; you know exactly why I adore it so much! 🩵
You're an interesting woman! My type of gal... someone I can look up to and learn from. I'm glad you put this together. I knew a bit of it, but it's nice to get more of your story.
